Please be advised that Microsoft has recently released a Security Vulnerability announcement - CVE for Outlook Remote Code Execution Vulnerability.



CVE-2024-30103

Impact: Remote Code Execution

Max Severity: Important


Databranch has developed an update deployment script to patch any clients who are not on the latest versions of Microsoft 365 and Office Apps.


This was automatically done for all of our Managed Clients.


The CVE-2024-30103 vulnerability is considered to be highly exploitable and problematic.


Specifically due to the fact that a user does not need to interreact with the malicious content for it to be executed.


Clients not on a Managed Services plan should reach out to discuss this important/urgent security issue.
