Summer Worship Services
Summer is the time for shifting gears, slowing down, and relaxing more. While you’re enjoying the summer, know that our Sunday morning worship services continue, albeit in a different way, especially for July and August.
June
We worship in the sanctuary, Sundays at 10:00 am. Services will also be broadcast on Facebook Live and Community TV.
- June 1 – Communion
- June 8 – Pentecost and Faith Formations Sunday (wear red to celebrate Pentecost, the Holy Spirit’s activity in the life of the Church.)
- June 15 – Scholarship Sunday and Father’s Day
- June 22 – Pastor Will’s Instillation Celebration and Potluck luncheon
- June 29 – Hymn Sing
July & August
As the weather warms up, we move downstairs to Fellowship Hall for worship where it’s cooler. Services probably won't be broadcast on Facebook Live or Community TV. There’s also no slideshow. Feel free to dress casually. An activity area will be available for kids. We plan to serve breakfast before worship once a month during this time.
If you're in the area we hope you will join us, either for worship or the other summer social and community activities we have planned.
Blessings,
Pastor Will

You should have received your invitation via Constant Contact to our own Rev. Will Seals Installation Service.
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, June 22 to attend worship which includes the Installation ceremony.
This is an important event in the life of Trinity Church. The Fellowship Hall will be beautifully decorated for the celebration luncheon.
We hope to see you there!

Hello Trinity Church Community!
Spring has arrived! Life is moving fast and Trinity Church moves with it. I love seeing our church “body” just as active in the community as our church building. The Music Ministry has been working hard to prepare music for next month. You won’t want to miss it! Take a look at what musical happenings are planned for June:
-
June 1st - Communion-themed Hymns focused on “HOPE”, as well as Special Music provided by the Adult Choir with a comforting melody that many will recognize.
-
June 8th - Pentecost-themed songs and Special Music provided by the Worship Band focused on “Spirit & Fire”. Attending young children will be invited to inspire us with dancing ribbons during the Postlude.
- Don’t forget about Music & Movement time after the service with Mr. Scott!
-
June 15th - A first-time appearance of the Treble Voice Ensemble. They will bring a lovely Soprano-Alto song for the Special Music called “Sing God’s Love”
-
June 22nd - Special Music presentation by the Low Voice Ensemble called “Go Forth” in honor of Pastor Will’s official installation.
-
June 29th - 5TH SUNDAY HYMN SING!!!! Do you know a hymn NOT in our hymnals and you wish we could sing it? I have many sources for hymns from various denominational backgrounds. Send in that request and let me do some searching!
For the month of June, the Song of the Month will be “Be Still, For the Spirit of the Lord”, a modern hymn in honor of Pentecost Season (Listen HERE), and our Sung Benediction will be the powerful Praise & Worship chorus, titled “Lord, I Lift Your Name on High” (Listen HERE).
I want to take a quick moment to apologize for anyone recently attending worship virtually via Facebook Live or Community TV. We are working through setup issues with our audio/video equipment and are trying to resolve them as best as possible. Please continue to provide feedback in the comments to help us better understand your experience. If you or someone you know has any expertise in working with sound systems and/or Facebook live streaming, any support that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
For July and August, we plan to move our worship services to the downstairs Fellowship Hall for a cooler environment. With this transition, we also plan to not use Slideshows or video recording equipment. We hope everyone can attend in person. We will use The Chalice Hymnal for much of the music and printouts for songs not found in it. If you need any other assistance to access music in that setting, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I wish everyone a blessed month of June!
Until We Meet Again,
Find God in the Music,
Scott Arnold (he/him)
Minister of Music
Trinity Church of Northborough

The next Saturday Breakfast Fellowship will be on Saturday, June 21 at 8:30 AM.
In June, rather than have a specific topic, I’m going to bring out a set of conversation starters from Talking Points Cards. We used these cards in January and the conversations seemed to go well. So, let’s gather on the 21st and see where the cards take us.
Everyone is welcome to come to Saturday Breakfast Fellowship for breakfast, fellowship, and discussion.
For more information or to add yourself to the Saturday Breakfast Fellowship email list, please contact Tom at tomdan4@gmail.com

- Some quick steps to access the directory:
- Go to the Trinity website
- Click on Our Congregation, then member directory
- Sign in or contact Rita in the office by phone or email for initial access
- In the directory click on My Profile to update information or photo
That’s it!
Thank you for keeping our directory going.

TRINITY / HOUSING AUTHORITY
GARDEN COLLABORATION
| | |
Trinity Church is collaborating with Northborough Housing Authority to provide garden space for the residents of Heritage Village, a Northborough Housing Authority complex for elderly and disabled residents that abuts our property.
We will provide the garden space behind our parking lot. Heritage Village will provide the gardeners. We look forward to beautiful gardens and other future projects with our neighbors at Heritage Village!
| | EXTERIOR RESTORATION AND MAINTANENCE TASK FORCE | | |
STEEPLE AND EXTERIOR MAINTENANCE UPDATE
Painters Pride completed painting the exterior wood surfaces of the church below the steeple in 13 days, with very little carpentry work required. Many thanks to Pete Carlsen and Tom Danforth for coordinating with the painters and the Northborough Police for the officer detail while part of Hudson Street was blocked by the lift.
The project came in under budget. The Task Force continues to actively explore how best to address the maintenance and restoration of the steeple.
If you have any questions or suggestions for the Task Force, please contact one of its members: Pete Carlsen, Jean Leif, Tom Danforth, Wally Corwin, Cheryl Silverberg, Beth Buckley or Tim Cashmore.
