Dear TCWV SISTERS, AMBASSADORS, AND SUPPORTERS,
As we move into June, I want to thank everyone for the tremendous energy, support, and enthusiasm surrounding our recent activities and upcoming events. It is exciting to see more people “waking up” to the importance of recognizing women veterans and wanting to participate in our programs and events.
Memorial Day reminded us of the sacrifices made by those who served before us, while June gives us the opportunity to celebrate the continued contributions of women veterans everywhere.
I am especially proud of the teamwork, dedication, and passion demonstrated by our members and community partners as we continue America 250 planning activities and outreach programs. Together, we are making history while preserving it.
Thank you for all you do to support TCWV and each other.
Betsy

This year, TCWVs will celebrate this historic milestone on June 13th. To register, go to tricountywomenveterans.org or use QR code below. Hope to see you there.
_______________________________________________________ MEMORIAL DAY REFLECTION
Thank you to everyone who participated in Memorial Day ceremonies and events throughout our communities. Your presence helped honor the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Thank you, Kathy Starnes and Joan Wentz, for representing TCWV at the ceremony at Bushnell. Hats off to Peggy Campbell for her outstanding speech at the VMP of The Villages Memorial Day Ceremony. Your heartfelt words and tribute to our veterans were both meaningful and inspiring. Thank you for representing women veterans with such pride and dignity.

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
TCWV remains committed to building strong partnerships with veteran organizations, civic groups, and local communities throughout the region.Together, we continue increasing the visibility of women veterans through education, outreach, collaboration, and service. Your recent donation of $2,000 in cash and $2,000 in in-kind contributions to Operation Shoebox, along with your June focus on the Isaiah 117 House Clothing Drive, reflect a strong commitment to serving both veterans and children in need. These efforts make a meaningful impact and strengthen the communities we support.
