Hi Friend,

We’re so excited to share with you our May impact! We wanted to make you aware of the amazing things we were able to do last month as a result of supporters like you! We're also giving you a heads up on some upcoming fundraisers and sharing ways you can get involved in supporting Memorial Health System's patients.
In May, we were able to have the following impact because of our supporters:

  • 334 medications for cancer patients
  • 6 breast imaging services for women
  • 141 medications for cardiac patients
  • 22 medications for endocrinology patients
  • 4 pieces of medical equipment for ostomy patients
  • 1 medication for a pediatric patient
  • covered pain injections for a cancer patient
  • covered transportation for a cancer patient to get further treatment in Jackson
  • purchased a birth certificate for pediatric patient
  • provided financial assistance to 2 employees
We're excited to bring back an annual fundraiser, The Mad Hatter's Ball, on Friday, November 4 from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Chapel at Centennial Plaza. Join us for a night of whimsy and fun to support Memorial’s patients. 100% of the funds raised will stay in our community to help our neighbors in need. Attire is cocktail, and we encourage you to wear a fun, festive hat. The night will feature live music, specialty cocktails, delicious food, a Wonderland experience, and more surprises to come!
The 5th Annual Krewe of Neptune Poker Run will be held on July 23rd, by land or sea. Proceeds will benefit our Oncology Patient Fund which provides medication, transportation, and nutritional assistance to Memorial's cancer patients.
Carter's Champions presents the inaugural Pink Boat Parade on Saturday, July 30th.
Boat lineup will begin at 11:00am in Gulfport Lake and end at Capt. Al's with live music, raffles, door prizes and more. Proceeds will benefit our Carter's Champions Breast Cancer Fund which provides financial assistance to those in our community receiving treatment for breast cancer at Memorial.
The 2022 Carter's Champions Pink Dress Run/Walk will be on Saturday, October 22nd beginning at 11am in downtown Gulfport. Proceeds will benefit our Carter's Champions Breast Cancer Fund which provides financial assistance to those in our community receiving treatment for breast cancer at Memorial.
New stock added! We've restocked our blue Foundation t-shirt.
You can order Foundation t-shirts, cups and more on our online store! 100% of proceeds from the items will stay in our community to help our neighbors in need.
We manage 26 funds that provide financial support to Memorial Health System's patients and employees. What makes us unique is that 100% of donations to the Foundation directly benefit the fund of your choosing and stay in our community. We have several donor programs for our supporters to choose from and you get to pick the fund you would like your donation to benefit.
