Friends - Boston Spring Recap

Celebrating Growth & Community

Dear Friends of the Children-Boston Community,

What a vibrant spring it's been! Our Achievers and Friends have been busy expanding programs, celebrating milestones, building connections, exploring new opportunities, and growing together. We're excited to share some highlights from this season.

Programming Updates: Growing and Learning Together

Social-Emotional Learning Groups

Our SEL programming has taken Achievers on a journey of self-discovery and mindfulness. Recent sessions focused on self-identity, social media and digital wellness, and getting in touch with nature to strengthen the mind-body connection.

Expanding Opportunities

We're thrilled to announce that our karate program has grown to TWO sessions - one for elementary Achievers and one for our adolescents! Our Achievers have also been exploring their futures through college visits and educational field trips.

We're constantly creating opportunities for our youth to discover new interests and possibilities through creative arts spaces, recreational activities like zoo visits, and diverse programming.

Your support makes all of these activities and special programming possible. Consider making a donation today to help us continue providing enriching experiences that help our Achievers grow, learn, and thrive!

SummerFest 2025: A Night of Connection and Impact

SummerFest 2025 at Big Night Live was absolutely incredible! With the help of our generous sponsors at the Massachusetts Port Authority and the expert planning and execution by Saphier Events, our Young Professionals Board hosted an unforgettable evening featuring a silent auction, delicious food and drinks, and most importantly, amazing company, all in support of Friends-Boston.

The energy in the room was electric as young professionals across Boston came together to network, share our mission, and support long-term mentorship for local youth. Once again, the YPB SummerFest perfectly captured the spirit of connection, impact, and hope for the future. Thank you to everyone who attended, bid in the auction, and helped make this event such a success.

Congratulations to Our 2025 High School Graduates!

We are bursting with pride as we celebrate our 2025 high school graduates! These incredible young people have shown resilience, determination, and growth throughout their journey with Friends-Boston.

To our graduates: you've inspired us all with your courage and perseverance. As you move forward into this exciting new chapter, know that your Friends-Boston family will always be cheering you on. Congratulations!
