Sign-up for the 2023-2024 School Year!

We are looking forward to continuing the Café Kehillah Lunch program for the upcoming school year.Your participation and support are essential to making this initiative a success.

In order for us to provide lunch for the 23-24 school year, we need a minimum of 150 students to sign up to cover the cost of the program which will ensure the continuation of this valuable service.

We are thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received regarding this year's menu options and the delicious food served. It is truly heartwarming to witness our students enjoying nutritious meals. The upcoming school year will feature an all-you-can-eat seasonal menu, prepared from scratch, with alternating weekly options between pescatarian and meat entrees. We will also continue to offer vegan and vegetarian choices every day to cater to different dietary preferences.

Join us in embracing this wonderful opportunity to provide our students with nourishing lunches. Your involvement is greatly appreciated.

Café Kehillah FAQ

“The benefits of the accomplished journey cannot be weighed in terms of perfect moments, but in terms of how this journey affects and changes our character.”

Ella Maillart, Swiss Adventurer, travel writer, photographer, and sportswoman

All of us at Kehillah are recipients of the wisdom of people who have changed our lives and helped in building our character. When we acknowledge those who have profoundly affected our lives, we not only honor them for their sacred work but we also honor ourselves by acknowledging the gifts that we have received.

Each year, we show appreciation for those who are continuing their life's journey outside the walls of our beloved school. We celebrate all that they have brought to benefit our intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical growth. Though we may be sad to say goodbye, we also have the opportunity to celebrate their continued journey and cherish the time we shared together.

This year we say todah rabbah - a huge thank you - to the following faculty members who have changed our lives for the better and helped us to develop our character. We will have a few minutes to say our farewells during our end-of-year BBQ with faculty and students on Friday.

An Update from the Robtics Team Currently in Boston

We're thrilled to share the latest update from the regatta! On Monday, our boat took its first plunge into the water, and although it ran aground, it's all part of the learning process. This initial voyage highlighted areas for improvement, which is expected during the design phase. Our dedicated students have been hard at work, tackling necessary modifications. They've focused on creating a new rudder, upgrading the rudder servo, fine-tuning the mast control servos, and optimizing the electrical system. Their efforts have been commendable! Today, we have an important presentation to showcase their work and the iterative design process. Then, on Friday, we aim to test our redesigned boat on the water before preparing to return it to California. We've received incredible support from fellow teams, particularly Virginia Tech, as well as Cornell, WPI, Pitt, and the Canadian Maritime Academy. We're grateful for the camaraderie and assistance we've experienced. It's worth noting that many of our competitors are renowned universities, including graduate students. This regatta has been a valuable and enriching experience for our team!

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the final days of the competition. We're thrilled to be part of this amazing event, and we'll make every moment count!
