Advisory Board Vacancies: Women's Wellness Connection


The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's (CDPHE) Women’s Wellness Connection (WWC) Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program (BCCSP) is seeking applications to fill three advisory board vacancies, one starting immediately and two starting in July 2025. Interested candidates are invite to apply by noon (12 p.m. MST) on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Please note that employees of WWC-funded organizations are generally ineligible to serve on the Board due to potential conflicts of interest.

The Cancer Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Disease (CCPD) Grant Review Committee is Seeking Applicants by June 1st


The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is seeking applications to fill the following key vacancies on the Cancer Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Disease (CCPD) Grant Program Review Committee. 



  • Pulmonary Expert
  • Public Health Professional
  • Primary Care Professional
  • Representative of the Rural Interest in the Prevention, Early Detection, and Treatment of Cancer, Cardiovascular, and Chronic Pulmonary Disease.


Information on how to apply is available on the CCPD Review Committee webpage. The due date for applications is June 1, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

Lymphoma Survivors Wanted for Heart Health Study


Are you a lymphoma survivor interested in research that could improve cardiovascular care after cancer?

CU Anschutz researchers are conducting a study to better understand how chemotherapy impacts heart and artery health.



You may qualify if you:

  • Are 18 years or older
  • Completed chemotherapy at least 4 weeks ago
  • Have not used hormone therapy in the past 12 months
  • Currently not pregnant/lactating

What’s involved:

  • Two in-person visits over 5 days (~5 hours total)
  • Non-invasive cardiovascular testing
  • $100 compensation + insights into your heart health

  • Embrace being intentional about self-care.

El agotamiento es común, especialmente para quienes se esfuerzan por ayudar a los demás a diario. En tiempos de incertidumbre, es más importante que nunca priorizar nuestro bienestar. En este taller virtual interactivo, aprenderá estrategias para fomentar la resiliencia, el bienestar y el autocuidado. Se ofrece interpretación en español.

Durante esta sesión, aprenderás a:

  • Familiarizarte con los pilares y otros elementos esenciales del bienestar.
  • Explorar la importancia de la resiliencia y su papel en nuestras vidas.
  • Aprender a reconocer los rasgos que predisponen al agotamiento.
  • Abordar el autocuidado de forma consciente.
