REVAMPED, EXPANDED INFUSION SERVICES NOW IN POCAHONTAS

St. Bernards Medical Center, in partnership with St. Bernards Five Rivers Medical Center, has revamped and expanded infusion services in Randolph County.


The services, now provided at St. Bernards Infusion Center – Five Rivers, occupy a renovated clinical space within St. Bernards Five Rivers Medical Center, giving patients greater availability and appointment opportunities for non-chemo treatments, such as IV antibiotics, IV iron, blood products, IVIG, specialty infusions and injections.

St. Bernards Electrophysiologist Dr. Devi Nair and team successfully used artifical intelligence to innovate care for patients with persistent atrial fribillation (Afib). As the first in the nation to use the Volta AF-Xplorer™ AI companion, they continually improve outcomes for patients with complex cardiac arrhythimias, including Afib.

ST. BERNARDS VICE PRESIDENT BRENDA MILLION RECEIVES 'THE DAISY LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD'

After 31 years of service on her last day before retirement, St. Bernards Vice President of Women's and Children's Services Brenda Million was honored with The DAISY Lifetime Achievement Award.


This award recognizes nurses who have devoted their life's work to the compassionate care of others. Recipients are nominated for active mentoring, role modeling, advocating for their patients and promoting the positive image of nursing.

NATIONAL CANCER SURVIVORS DAY AT ST. BERNARDS, SUNDAY JUNE 4

Cancer survivors and their supporters around the world will unite on Sunday, June 4, 2023, to celebrate life, recognizing those who have fought or continue to battle cancer and raising awareness of the ongoing challenges that cancer survivors face.


Join us for an in-person celebration with lunch provided and an opportunity to interact with our Cancer Center providers directly.


It's all happening Sunday, June 4th at St. Bernards Auditorium. Doors open at 12 noon, with the event concluding at 2 p.m.
