A Novel Idea Book Fest Recap May 2nd
Our inaugural A Novel Idea Book Fest on May 2nd was an incredible success, bringing together local authors, historians, artists, families, and book lovers from across Caroline County. The energy throughout the day was inspiring — every corner of the 4‑H Park buzzed with conversation, creativity, and community pride.
Attendees shared overwhelmingly positive feedback about the event, praising the variety of authors, the engaging presentations, the welcoming atmosphere, and the strong sense of local connection. From children discovering new stories to adults meeting their favorite local writers, the festival offered something special for everyone.
We are grateful to our partners, vendors, volunteers, and community members who helped make this celebration of literature and local talent such a memorable day. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this new Chamber tradition. We’re already looking forward to building on this momentum for next year’s festival.
