Get ready for an incredible night at Le Mini Grand Bal on Friday, June 16th! Join us from 6:00 to 8:30 pm for an evening of European social dancing, inspired by the vibrant Bal Trad (Grand Ball) in France. This event is perfect for both beginners and experienced dancers. No prior experience is required, as instructor Niki will guide you through the dances throughout the evening, ensuring a fun experience for all.

Reserve your spot today and get ready to put on your dancing shoes for a night filled with rhythm and celebration. Tickets are $10 per person and include French-inspired refreshments. Kids under 12 are free!

The International Parent Community (IPC) helps families from overseas form bonds and feel more comfortable living in Davis. They meet at the I-House and exchange useful information and this is a great place to practice English. 

We are happy to let you know that the IPC will have a potluck party on Friday, June 2nd, 12-2pm at the I-House. This is the last meeting for this school year. Anybody is welcome to join! For more information about the IPC, please click here. 

Starting June 12th, we'll be open Monday-Thursday from 9am-2pm until Labor Day weekend. While summer may be a quieter time at I-House, we're still here to serve you! If you need to meet outside our regular hours, simply reach out to office@internationalhousedavis.org, and we'll be happy to accommodate you with an appointment.

In the coming weeks, we'll be announcing our exciting Fall program. Get ready for a season filled with engaging events, inspiring activities, and the opportunity to connect with people from around the world.

Davis Day of Reflection

Join the Davis Day of Reflection on June 1st to reflect, remember, and reconnect with the community. Travel the Davis Reflection Route at your own pace, with staffed reflection points from 11 am to 2 pm, offering support, activities, and resources. Visit this link for more information.

Join the community on June 3 and June 4 for a series of exciting events. On Saturday, June 3, kick off the festivities with a fun-filled Skate Night at 7 pm. On Sunday, June 4, be part of the Run/Walk for Equality starting at 8 am, explore the Vendor and Craft Faire from 10 am, and immerse yourself in the Pride Music Festival. Yolo Juneteenth Celebration

Yolo Juneteenth Festival is on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the UC Davis Conference Center. This annual event, supported by various organizations, has been faithfully celebrating and connecting with the community for the past eight years.
