Spring House Intersection-Overnight Paving


Please be advised that overnight paving is scheduled at the Spring House Intersection on Monday, June 17th beginning 7pm and continuing to 5am on Tuesday, June 18th. Normal work operations will continue at the intersection on these days from 9am until 3pm. The paving work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if needed..

EAC Going Green Award


The Environmental Advisory Council is now accepting applications for the 2024 Going Green Award. This program recognizes sustainability initiatives that improve or protect the environment and our natural resources, and to raise awareness about important environmental issues within Lower Gwynedd Township. Further information and application can be found here.

  

Recent Grants


Lower Gwynedd pursues various grant opportunities throughout the year to fund capital projects. Recently the Township is the proud recipient of the following grants:


Ingersoll Park Improvement Project: $830K in state funding through Senator Collett. The grant will support the construction of ADA accessible family restrooms, a new concession stand, and press box.


MONTCO 2040 Implementation Grant: $250K- Funding towards the Penllyn Train Station Trail Connection Project.


PECO Green Region Grant: $7,500- Funding towards two pollinator gardens, one in Oxford Park and one in Pen-Ambler Park.
