2026 Bike Rodeo


Join us for the 2026 Bike Rodeo, a free event for kids ages 4-12. Bring your bike and enjoy an afternoon of biking, safety activities, prizes, and more. GBASO will also be back with their mobile skate park for skateboarding and scootering fun. Free lunch will be available through the summer lunch program, along with a chance to win a new bike (must be present to win).


Klipstine Park Bandshell Dedication & Ribbon-Cutting


Please join us for a special stage dedication and donor recognition ceremony celebrating the new Klipstine Park Bandshell. The ceremony will recognize the generous support of the Bukowski, Happel, and Appleton families, whose contributions are helping create a new space for concerts, community gatherings, and celebrations for years to come!

Large Item Collection: June 22, 2026


The Public Works Department’s next large item collection will take place on Monday, June 22, 2026. Please view the resources below to schedule your collection, prepare your items, and know what is accepted so the process goes smoothly.


Step 1: Visit ashwaubenon.gov/largeitem

Residents can schedule and submit items starting on the first of the month. Please notify staff of your items by the Sunday before collection week at ashwaubenon.gov/largeitem.


Step 2: Enter Your Information

Enter your name, contact information, address, and a description of the items.


Step 3: Place Your Items on the Curb by 6 A.M. Monday

All items must be placed at the curb by 6:00 a.m. Monday. Do not place items at the curb more than 72 hours before the start of collection. Crews will collect throughout the first part of the week and will not return for late set-outs. Items will only be picked up if a scheduled pickup is requested.


Reminder: If you have large items to dispose of outside of your scheduled pickup, we recommend breaking them down into smaller pieces and placing them in your garbage bin.

Large Item Collection

The next large item collection is on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Brush Collection

Brush collection is offered year-round upon request at ashwaubenon.gov/brush. Service is limited to village addresses, runs on a four-week cycle, and requires your contact information.

Garbage & Recycling

Garbage is collected once a week on your assigned weekday. Recycling is picked up every other week on the same day, based on your A-week or B-week schedule.

Learn How To Roll Fresh Sushi: Sushi 101


Join Ed from Sushi 101 Club for a hands-on sushi training experience. The lively and entertaining chef will expertly instruct everyone on the art of sushi making. Eat, laugh, create & learn! Minimum 10 to run the class. Ages 18+.

Zumba in the Park


Zumba® in the Park kicks off summer with music, movement, and community fun led by Heather, Hidy, and Thatsanee from Spicy Movement LLC. This 8-week program is open to all fitness levels—whether you’re new to Zumba or already experienced, everyone is welcome.

Ashwaubomay Lake Opens June 6


Opening Day for Ashwaubomay Lake (2881 S. Broadway Dr.) is Saturday, June 6. The lake is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with extended hours until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.


Season passes are $5 off if purchased before June 5, 2026.

Concerts in the Park


Check out the bands and live entertainment scheduled for our Concerts in the Park series. Concessions will be available on site, picnic tables are provided, and guests are also welcome to bring their own lawn chair or blanket. Restrooms are available in the Community Center. Concerts begin at 11:30 a.m.
