Chamber Member Leads Group
Are you interested in using a leads group as one of your prospecting strategies to grow your business? A leads group can be a very powerful way of generating referrals. The Chamber's leads groups will allow members of noncompetitive business categories to network, build relationships, and generate referrals. Leads Groups are open to Central VT Chamber members & each group is limited to one member per business category. Members are required to meet attendance.
Meetings will take place on the second Tuesday of every month at 9:30am on zoom.
Expectations of Leads Group Members:
- Actively participate in weekly meetings
- Whenever possible encourage a guest to participate in the meeting should the member not be available to attend
- Help fellow members grow their business through positive referrals and word of mouth marketing
- Maintain active membership in the Central VT Chamber of Commerce
What Should Leads Group Members Expect:
- A team of up to ten local professionals that will help you grow your business
- Monthly opportunities to share about your business with the group along with an extended opportunity to provide a detailed presentation about your business annually
- Networking in a fun and productive environment without needless rules and fees

Open Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm with four tours daily: 10:15am, 11:15am, 1:15pm & 2:15pm, first come, first served. BYO lunch, open up your laptop and learn about these new game-changing pay equity tools!
The Toolkit is a free DIY resource empowering Vermont’s small to midsize employers with tools to conduct gender and racial pay equity reviews. You’ll be introduced to the innovative Equity Management Tool and companion Playbook, learn from state and national pay equity experts, and be inspired by the stories of Vermont employers who have implemented workplace pay equity practices. Our featured guest is former Massachusetts Lt. Governor, author and economist, Evelyn Murphy. Dr. Murphy is the founder and president of the nationwide, grassroots activist organization The WAGE Project and the co-chair of the Boston Women’s Workforce Council, both dedicated to eliminating the gender/racial wage gap.

President Mark Anarumo joins AVIC Executive Committee
Norwich University President Dr. Mark Anarumo will join the executive committee of the Association of Vermont Independent Colleges for a two-year term beginning June 1.
The executive committee provides strategic support and advice to the AVIC president and other AVIC member presidents.
The Association of Vermont Independent Colleges (AVIC) is the only statewide organization that represents exclusively the interests of private higher education in Vermont. AVIC provides public policy leadership, fosters cooperative efforts among institutions, and serves as the liaison between its members and the state and federal government.
AVIC is dedicated to expanding the capacity of Vermont’s independent educational network and attracting students who will contribute to the state’s future workforce as well as the economic, civic, and cultural life of Vermont.

The conference rooms at the Central VT Chamber offices, also known as Beaulieu Place, are available for meetings and events again!
Two conference rooms separated by a fold away wall can host meetings and events from just a few people to over 40. Centrally located in a prime space just off exit 7 from I-89, with free parking, coffee/tea, LCD projector, speakerphone and more, what more could you ask for in a conference room space?!
