June 2023 in MCC Clinical Research
May Accruals
Since January, Meyer Cancer Center clinicians accrued 294 patients to therapeutic clinical trials and 225 patients to non-therapeutic trials. We are on track to enroll 706 patients to therapeutic studies across all sites in 2023, which represents approximately 8% of analytical cases*. The target accrual is 10%.

MCC Clinical Research Leadership will work with the Disease Management Teams and faculty at each location to increase accruals across the sphere. We invite you to contact Drs. Anna Pavlick and Peter Martin with ideas for bolstering accruals.

*% of analytic cases calculated using 2019 registry data, 8,785 cases.

Updating Study Statuses in OnCore
Keep your study status up to date! It's the best way to ensure that your clinical colleagues know what trials are available for their patients and also improves the accuracy of Cancer Center reporting.

There are multiple places to document study statuses in OnCore:

1) Protocol Status on the header and in the Status page for the overall study status.
  • Updating the overall study status also updates the study status for WCM/NYP.
2) Institution page for the status at each Participating Institution
  • To update the status of studies at Participating Institutions, go to the 'Institution' page and select the location. When changing the study status here, verify that the statuses are correct for all sites.
