Big Bin - June 4th!

If you’re doing some Spring cleaning, remember Big Bin is coming!

When: Saturday, June 4th 12-5pm

Where: the AGCL Hall parking lot

Reminder: due to the Big Bin event Saturday, June 4th the Hall parking lot will be locked Thursday evening and unavailable for parking until Monday, June 6th.

Details:

must have a valid AGCL Membership. You can purchase one online at https://efcl.org/membership-purchase or we will be selling them on site at the event ($40 - cash or cheque only).
there will be 3 bins available; 1st come 1st served as long as space lasts
only items that will be going to landfill; no household hazardous wastes (includes batteries, chemicals, automotive, lighting, paint, aerosols), no mattresses please.

Block Party!

Thinking of holding a block party this summer? Your AGCL is happy to provide some support!

Email: vicepresident@aspengardens.ca with your request and a copy of your Block Party permit from the City, and AGCL will give $100 to assist with your party.

First come, first served - limited quantities available.

Hot Cars in The Hood & Summer Kick Off!

When: Thursday, June 23rd 6:30-9pm

Where: AGCL Hall & drive through neighbourhood

What: cool cars, live music, summer treats, quality neighbourhood visit!

This year we are happy to have our own local neighbourhood talent, The Frolics, playing live for us during this event! Come check them out!

Details:

Do you have a classic car, an exotic ride, a tuner or a set of wheels that is tricked out and deserves to be admired? We want you to come join us for a Community Cruise and Rally!

If you’re driving, meet at the AGCL Hall parking lot Thursday, June 23rd at 6:45pm. Once assembled, we will do a slow cruise through the Aspen & Westbrook and reconvene at the Hall to park, where people can come sneak a peek at your pride and joy!

If you’re a spectator, keep your eyes peeled on the streets between 6:45-7:30pm as we will be making our way through the neighbourhood OR come down to the Hall to see the Frolics play, then check out these rides up close between 7:30-8:30pm.

**Every year we are growing this event - if you have a friend in Grandview, Lansdowne, Royal Gardens, Greenfield or Blue Quill who has a car that should be here, please let them know and bring them along!**
