Outside Festival, a ticketed event, will return to Civic Center Park (101 14th Ave) on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 from 1 PM to 10 PM. This event is a celebration of everything outdoors, featuring live music, adventure films, thought-provoking speakers, immersive experiences, the latest outdoor gear, and more.
*Please note this event requires tickets for entry. Purchase tickets on the event's website.
Impacts: Road closures and parking restrictions will be implemented in phases. Plan ahead and expect traffic delays in these areas during the closures. Thank you for your patience!

Denver PrideFest +NEW PARADE ROUTE!

Denver PrideFest, the two-day festival produced by The Center on Colfax, returns to Civic Center Park but with a new parade route for 2025. The Center on Colfax works to ensure that every member of the LGBTQ+ community has access to the programs and resources they need to live happy, healthy, and productive lives.

| | Impacts - NEW PARADE ROUTE: The Denver Pride Parade, historically held on Colfax Avenue, has moved its route in 2025 due to current construction on Colfax. The parade will organize in Cheesman Park and travel north on Franklin St to step off at 17th Avenue and Franklin Street on Sunday at 9:30 AM, and will conclude at Lincoln Street. Expect large crowds along the parade route, 5k route, and around the festival site. Please plan for delays and heavy traffic. | |
Denver Chalk Art Festival

Get ready for the Denver Chalk Art Festival on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8 from 10 AM to 8 PM. The festival takes place two blocks south of Civic Center Park (12th Avenue & Bannock Street), nestled in the lively Golden Triangle Arts District, surrounded by several art and cultural museums.
The festival will feature live music, food trucks, and a Kid's Corner for aspiring young artists to create their own chalk art masterpieces. The event will take place rain or shine!
Impacts: Please note that the streets listed below will be closed from Friday, June 6 at 6 AM and end Monday, June 9 at 6 AM.
- Bannock St: 11th Ave to 13th Ave
- 12th Ave: Cherokee St to Acoma St
- Acoma St: 11th Ave to 12th Ave

Juneteenth Music Festival
Sunday, June 15

The Juneteenth Music Festival will be held in the historic Five Points neighborhood on Sunday, June 15. The celebration kicks off with a 14-block parade and wraps up with a festival where you will find over 100 exhibitors, 20 food vendors, live music, a youth zone, and more.
The event entrances will be located at the corner of 25th St. and Welton, E. 26th Ave. and Clarkston, and 29th St. and Welton.
Impacts: The following streets will be closed and meter parking will be unavailable starting Friday, June 13 at 5 PM. Streets will fully reopen on Monday, June 16 at 6 AM:
- Welton St. from 24th to 30th
- 24th–29th Streets between Welton and California
- 24th–27th Streets between Glenarm Pl. and Welton
- Washington St. between 25th Ave. and Welton
- 28th St. between 26th Ave. and Welton
- 29th St. between Glenarm Pl. and Welton
To help reduce traffic and parking congestion, attendees are encouraged to take public transportation or use ride shares.

Cherry Blossom Festival at Sakura Square

Don't miss the Cherry Blossom Festival at Sakura Square, a cultural extravaganza happening at Sakura Square on Saturday, June 21 from 11 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday, June 22 from 11 AM to 4 PM. Enjoy traditional Japanese performances on the outdoor stage, explore a Japanese-themed marketplace along Larimer Street, and savor delicious Japanese cuisine.
Impacts: Larimer St. between 19th and 20th Streets will be closed, and meter parking will be unavailable from Friday, June 20 at 5 PM. through Sunday, June 22 at approximately 9 PM (following event cleanup).
Additionally, all meters on the west side of Lawrence St. between 19th and 20th Streets will be unavailable during this time.
Please note: No onsite parking will be available. Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation or ride shares to help reduce traffic and parking congestion.
