June is National Reunification Month

June is National Reunification Month – a time to recognize the individuals and efforts in our community that help families stay together.

Each year, CASA of Brown County recognizes families who have overcome obstacles to reunify after their child was placed in the child welfare system.

In honor of National Reunification Month celebrated each June, we celebrate our CASA volunteers and service providers who work hard to identify family strengths to help reunite separated families.

We know children do best when they can safely remain with their parents or with other family members. That’s why our CASA volunteers commit to strengthening families in their ability to care for and protect their children.

If you'd like to learn more about how YOU can become an advocate for a child who has experienced abuse and/or neglect, click the link below or contact Eileen Metzler, Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator at eileen@casabc.org.

Congratulations New CASA Volunteers!

Congratulations to 14 new CASA volunteers who completed pre-service training and were sworn in this month! They are now ready to begin advocating for children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect in Brown County. A CASA volunteer visits the child regularly and submits a monthly report to the judge on the child's safety and well-being to help the judge make important decisions about their future.

Welcome to our new CASA volunteers! We are so fortunate to have such caring and dedicated people in our community who want to help make a difference!

Join us for the CASA Classic for Kids Golf Outing!

Proceeds raised directly sustain our work to recruit, train, and support CASA volunteers to advocate for more children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect and under court protection in Brown County. Together, we are all FORE the kids!
