National Safety Month focuses on saving lives and preventing injuries, from the workplace to anyplace. With unintentional injuries at an all-time high, safety doesn’t stop in the face of a pandemic. In fact, safety is more critical now than ever before.
Given the current state of the world, the month will look a little different than past years. Instead of focusing on a single topic each week, NSC will provide real-time, relevant resources on a variety of topics for keeping workers safe. In addition, NSC will offer guidelines and recommendations for companies to navigate this changed work environment as part of the new initiative SAFER. (See below for more information.)
This year, NSC will shine a spotlight on pressing topics, including:
- Mental Health
- Ergonomics
- Building a Safety Culture
- Driving, and more
Look for more information coming in June and make sure to check back frequently, as we will be adding resources throughout the month. In the meantime,
