SMART: An online sex ed program for two spirit and queer teens !

We’ve partnered with the SMART Project – a real-world online program for two spirit, gay, bi, and queer teens to learn more about their sexual identities and health! The SMART Project is an online sex education program that is tailored to the specific needs of two spirit, gay, bi, and queer teens. The SMART Project covers topics like navigating sex and romantic relationships and connecting with the community. We hope that through SMART, teens feel safe, confident, and empowered. Two spirit is a contemporary term that refers to current and historical LGBTQ people, whose individual spirit blends male and female identities. Healthy Native Youth: Resources to support LGBTQ and Two Spirit Youth

Last month, our Healthy Native Youth Community of Practice had a great interactive discussion, sharing tips and ideas for making our health services affirming, inclusive and relevant for LGBTQ and Two Spirit youth.
