The Atlantic Area CASA, Inc. will be out of the office from Friday, June 3 to Wednesday, June 9, as we attend the National CASA/GAL Association 2022 Annual Conference in Seattle, Washington.

National Reunification Month

June is National Reunification Month. It is a time to reflect on family strengths that lead to successful reunifications.

Atlantic Area CASA, Inc. celebrates families, volunteers, and service providers who work hard to reunite separated families in honor of the month.

Our CASA volunteers work with experts to DFCS Case managers, attorneys, and judges to identify and recommend services to restore, rebuild, and renovate families.

At the pandemic's beginning, our CASA staff teamed up with DFCS to meet and celebrate newly reunified families. The goal was to encourage each family member to continue their efforts in keeping the family together. We are hoping to be able to meet with more reunified families very soon.

Now more than ever, we need CASA Volunteers to continue our efforts in advocating for abused and neglected children in foster care. Our mission, as always, is to connect each child with a volunteer that can push for quality services to provide them with their needs and direct each child in the right direction for a better future.
