Good news! Reading can boost your health.

Raise a toast to your book club. Revel in your reading time.

Research shows that, among other things, reading can help you:

  • Reduce stress.
  • Slow memory loss.
  • Feel more connected to others.

Reading does even more for the little ones in your life. Did you know Lane County children, age 5 and under, can receive a free book in the mail each month from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library?

Families in Eugene can register a child at Eugene Public Library sign-up page.

Families elsewhere in Lane County and nearby counties can enroll at imaginationlibrary.com.
