Good news! Reading can boost your health.

Raise a toast to your book club. Revel in your reading time.

Research shows that, among other things, reading can help you:

  • Reduce stress.
  • Slow memory loss.
  • Feel more connected to others.

As you might guess, reading does even more for the little ones in your life. Did you know children (age 5 and under) in many locations, can receive a free book in the mail each month from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library?

Families in Whatcom County can register a child at Imagination Library for Whatcom. Families in San Juan County can enroll at Imagination Library for San Juan.
