Hello Friends!

Thank you to the over 2000 people who joined us at the library on June 8th for the summer reading kick-off party! If you missed the party, you can enroll here, log the books you read this summer, write reviews and attend programs for a chance to win prizes - open to all age groups. The BRPL summer reading program is one of the premier events sponsored each year by the Friends.

The Friends are hosting another special event this summer on home school curriculum planning. Join us on August 1st to learn about curriculum choices, network with home school parents, and discover library and area resources. Save the date - registration opens June 17th!

The Friends have updated their membership policy to include yearly membership starting from the month you sign up. What does this mean? We've made it possible to sign up at any time of the year and still receive a full year of membership benefits.

Our Bookstore

Join us this summer as we host special deals at our bookstore, such as the sale of audio books for $2 and children’s DVDs for $1 through the month of June, and our "Christmas in July" book sale of all Christmas books.

Bookstore regular prices are also hard to beat:

Our Art Gallery

See the paintings of local artists of the Louis & Anne Green Memory & Wellness Center at Florida Atlantic University, at our art gallery at the Spanish River Library now through July 28th.

Exhibit curated by Friends art gallery curator, Victoria Sheridan.

All exhibition artwork is for sale.
