This Sweet Calico Can Be Queen of Your Heart

Queenie, a sweet 16+ year-old calico, is a friendly and talkative girl looking for someone to open their heart and home to a senior sweetheart like her. Senior cats like Queenie are true gems. They’re mellow, affectionate, and have well-established personalities. No wild kitten energy here — just a calm, loving companion who enjoys the simple things in life: soft beds, gentle pets, and quiet moments by your side.

Best of all, senior cats are often deeply grateful for a second chance and form strong, lasting bonds with their new families.

If you’ve been thinking about adoption, being a Furever Foster, or being in our Senior Cats for Senior Laps program, now is the perfect time to open your heart and home. While Queenie has only a few of her teeth left and kidney disease, she doesn’t require any medication—only kidney-friendly wet food and love.

Let Confetti Become the Life of Your Party

Confetti, a quiet, 6-year-old gray and white girl with long hair, came to us 3 years ago from a shelter in Aztec, NM. She arrived there with her kitten, who was quicky taken by a rescue group that wanted a kitten but not Confetti. The shelter contacted us to see if we would take her, but in her photo, she looked sad and unkempt. They reassured us that Confetti was friendly, and told us she had been there a while and was going to be on the euthanasia list. We quickly went to rescue her. She has been spayed, vaccinated, had a dental exam, and is now ready for adoption, a Furever Foster, or Senior Cats for Senior Laps.

Confetti is quiet and loves sitting on the couch next to her person or in her person’s lap all the time. She needs to be the only pet because she bonds with her owner quickly and doesn’t like sharing her new owner with other animals. She has no current health needs, but her long, luxurious coat will need occasional grooming.
