Did you know that cauliflower is actually a flower that has not yet fully developed? These tightly packed flower buds are also known as curds.
Cauliflower belongs to the brassica (or mustard) family and is classified as having a slightly nutty and slightly sweet flavour, which allows it to be a fantastic addition to a breadth of cuisines. This vegetable is full of a variety of nutrients including antioxidants and sulfur-containing compounds that support the liver’s natural detoxification process.
