Annual Report Overview
Have you heard that LPEA has risen in the last 4 years from being one of the lowest ranked to now one of the top 3 ranked electric cooperatives in the State of Colorado for financial health?

Additionally, we were $1 million under budget for 2022!
Did you also know that LPEA kept rates stable for 2 years, even though our costs have risen over 50% and other energy sources have increased by 24% cumulatively?

Please check out our annual report for more interesting facts about how LPEA performed in 2022.
LPEA recently awarded scholarships and grants for 10 local kids to go to college and trade schools, because we believe in and are committed to our community and our youth. We are invested in our future.

Source Clean, Local, Low-cost Power
LPEA is meeting our strategic goal of sourcing local, affordable, clean power by collaborating with TriState to secure another 2 MW of community solar. As a result of this effort, we are in the permitting phases of building local, reliable power near our Sunnyside Substation.

Please get the FACTS here.
Keep The Lights On
As always, our lineworkers are committed to keeping the lights on. Our goal is not to lose power in the first place, but we know that nature has a way of disrupting that, and our lineworkers will continue to go out in every storm to make sure your electricity gets restored fast.

Thank you, lineworkers!
