Laguna Beach’s 4th Annual Juneteenth Jubilee
A Citywide Celebration of Freedom, Culture, and Legacy
This June, the Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center (LBCAC) proudly presents its 4th Annual Juneteenth Jubilee—a powerful, multi-day citywide celebration that uses the transformative power of the arts to honor the African American experience and commemorate the delayed arrival of emancipation in the United States.
Anchored in the spirit of Black joy, cultural legacy, resilience, and resistance, this year’s Jubilee brings together film, music, theatre, and community dialogue to elevate voices that have long gone unheard—and to inspire reflection and progress through creative expression.
With the support of key community partners including The Rivian South Coast Theater and Neighborhood Congregational Church, the 2025 Juneteenth Jubilee continues to grow as a unified cultural movement in one of the nation’s most artistically vibrant towns.

Performed by Peak’s acclaimed On Impulse Acting Troupe, this powerful work is woven together by the resonant words of Abraham Lincoln: “Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves.”
Through stunning theatrical performances, Freedom’s Cry reminds us that remembrance is resistance—and that storytelling is a sacred act of healing and truth-telling. Click here for more Info and to RSVP
