Teacher and Mentor Leading JA Fellows Teams to Success

Mentors, volunteers and teachers are key to the success of every student. We'd like to do a shout-out to Christopher Bayus, Teacher at Everglades High School, who has done a remarkable job getting his class involved in  JA Fellows  for the first time. He has engaged his students in starting their business and creating a fun product for cell phones users.

We'd also like to recognize Gail Auguston-Koppen, a member of the  JA Circle of Wise Women , who has mentored Dillard High School's team as they build their company, DHSP Safe Block. The team has developed a  unique safety product  in response to the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Both teams are competing against others for the 10 finalist spots at the JA Fellows Spark Tank Finale on Saturday, April 13th, 8-11 a.m. Join us to watch our budding entrepreneurs in action! See their products displayed, the marketing materials and videos they've produced and the final competition presentations.
