Mayday, Mayday! Calling all Volunteers!

Junior Achievement of South Florida serves 50,000 students each year.
This incredible outreach would not be possible without the selflessness
and dedication of our volunteers.

The month of May is one of the busiest here at JA of South Florida,
as the close of the school year quickly approaches.
We're excited to share the JA experience with the students who will be coming through our facility in the upcoming weeks, but we need your help!
Individuals and corporate groups are welcome to volunteer!

The Jim Moran Foundation
Supports JA Fellows Program!

The Jim Moran Foundation recently sponsored five JA Fellows company teams at local high schools, each comprised of 15-20 students conceptualizing, capitalizing and managing their own small business. Thanks to the support of donors like The Jim Moran Foundation, the JA Fellows program has grown from 4 student run company teams to 21 in the past four years.

The mission of The Jim Moran Foundation is to improve the quality of life for the youth and families of Florida through the support of innovative programs and opportunities that meet the ever-changing needs of the community. Their grant helps JA to be a solution to the workforce skills gap our community is facing. Many of these students would not have the opportunity to be involved in a program like JA Fellows, since it is not currently taught in our schools.

We invite you to join us as our top 10 teams compete for the title of Junior Achievement of South Florida Company of the Year!

Saturday, April 7, 8-11 AM
JA World Huizenga Center
at the Lillian S. Wells Foundation Pavilion
1130 Coconut Creek Blvd.
Coconut Creek, FL 33066

This event is free to attend. RSVP with Kacee Reid at Kacee@jasouthflorida.org.
