Senior students have their biggest, most important meeting of the year on Oct. 9. From 9:00-9:30 a.m. we will meet as a class to begin going over graduation details as well as introduce some important college preparation information.
On this day, seniors will:
- Order their cap, gown, and stole
- Receive information to order other graduation materials (rings, announcements)
- Confirm pronunciation of their name at graduation
- Confirm spelling of their legally given name for their diploma
- Access representatives from the State Dept. of Ed. about Idaho scholarships
-
Get their tux/drape picture taken
- Meet representatives from a variety of universities
- Receive college essay help from English teachers
- Use time for college applications and the FAFSA
Clearly an important day for seniors, students will control their own time as long as they attend the mandatory 9: 00 a.m. meeting and complete all required tasks.
There will not be regular classes on October 9th. Sophomores and Juniors will be taking the PSAT, and Seniors will be completing these important tasks. This is a required school day for seniors. Attendance will be taken at the class meeting.
Required Tasks are In BOLD.
