Tea with the Teachers - January 21, 2026

Please join us for Tea with the Teachers, a virtual collaborative learning community (VCLC). In this facilitated VCLC, teachers of the deaf/hard of hearing (TODHHs) will have the opportunity to propose and discuss topics related to the education of students who are deaf and hard of hearing. Participants are encouraged to pose questions throughout the year using the Tea with the Teachers Collaborative Notes, found in the Tea with the Teachers LiveBinder (password: TeaTime). Inquiries will be sorted into categories to be presented to those in attendance for discussion among peers during the event. Questions and topics can be added by anyone with the link at any time in order to allow anonymity and ease of submission.

The dates for meetings are as follows:

  • January 21, 2026
  • April 1, 2026
  • May 6, 2026

All events will be delivered in Zoom from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time).

The training will include the following:

  • facilitated conversation on topics specific to students who are deaf/hard of hearing (DHH),
  • access to collaborative notes with links and resources embedded, and
  • a LiveBinder of all shared resources.

The sessions will not be recorded and transcripts will not be available after the event.

Automatic speech recognition captions and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be provided in the Zoom environment. Should you require any additional accessibility accommodations, please contact help@rmtcdhh.org.

If you have not already registered, you can do so at the Tea with the Teachers Registration Page.
