Savannah River Brewing Company (SRBC for short) is a new 30 barrel craft brewery located in historic downtown Augusta, Georgia. With their opening in early 2016, SRBC aspires to be a unique venue where customers can savor and enjoy the freshest, highest quality craft beers and sodas available anywhere, in the midst of their state-of-the-art Brewhouse, while mingling with friends, family and fellow beer enthusiasts in their newly constructed, expansive Taproom, Patio and Beer Garden.
SRBC is a family business, founded by Brothers Steve and Dave Ellison. About two years ago, when they first began discussing the idea of opening a craft brewery, they could have chosen any state or city, and to be sure, Steve & Dave looked at many. They wanted it to be more than just a "business decision" reached by analyzing a bunch of information. Steve & Dave wanted it to have more meaning to their family. So they chose the great State of Georgia, for this very reason, which is where the story of Savannah River Brewing Company begins.
