Just Who Do We Think We Are?
Astrologer, Peggy Lundquist, The Happy Mystic, Says...
"We are souls trying to learn through each lifetime how to love ourselves and others unconditionally.

"I believe before birth our souls choose challenges to help us grow out of our karmic patterns - the 'bad habits' or unhealthy behaviors we repeat lifetime after lifetime.

"In Evolutionary Astrology, karma is represented by the South and North Nodes of the Moon. The South Node describes where we keep getting stuck, and the North Node the direction our soul wants to grow in.

"What I try to keep in mind (not that it’s always easy) is that growth can't happen without challenge.

"Appreciating joy is possible because we have experienced pain.

"It is all part of the experience."

Greetings!
Whether or not Astrology is part of your philosophy, I want to point out that there are many wise people, from ancient times to the present, who believe Astrology works and have dedicated their lives to the study of it. In this newsletter, I highlight Astrology and the highly anticipated transit of Pluto leaving the sign of Capricorn and moving into Aquarius.

WHAT'S HAPPENING?

January 20, 2024, was the big day many in the Astrology world have been waiting for! It signaled the beginning of a "shift" in circumstances resulting from the astrological planet Pluto moving into the sign of Aquarius.

I am proud to feature Peggy Lundquist, a dynamic astrologer I recently met. I invited Peggy to contribute to Just Who Do We Think We Are?, and she was happy to formulate her unique answers based on her understanding of astrology to two specific questions.

  1. Who do you think we are?
  2. What do you believe is the significance of Pluto's transit into Aquarius?

Peggy's intriguing response to the first question is under Just Who Do We Think We Are? above. Continue reading for her insightful interpretation of the significance of Pluto's transit into Aquarius, as well as compelling perspectives from some other astrologers.

If you are new to Astrology, I hope you find this stimulating topic thought provoking. If you are experienced in Astrology, enjoy the discussion! See my "key takeaways" at the end of the newsletter.
From the
World of
ASTROLOGY...

What a Time to Be Alive on the Planet!

If you're into Astrology, you have already heard about this celestial event.
If not, hold onto your hat!

From Astrologer Peggy Lundquist

"Pluto has been dipping its toe into Aquarius since last March. It will continue to transition between Capricorn and Aquarius throughout this year, finalizing its status as Aquarian Pluto in November.

"This planet represents power. It’s exiting tradition-loving, conservative Capricorn. There, power was found in self-discipline, practicality, stoicism, building things, and sticking with the 'safe' route.

"Now the planet of generational death and rebirth will be donning a very different costume. The winds of change will be shifting the collective toward power found through individualism, authenticity, a desire for equality, and questioning what has come before.
Why do we do things this way?
Who is benefitting from this and who is disadvantaged?

"Aquarius shaping Pluto will be like opening the screen door and letting in the breeze - things may get shuffled around a bit.

  • Power structures will need to be revisited, rethought, and perhaps revised.
  • Trust in the past may be pushed aside to make way for trust in the future.

Pluto in Aquarius may bring a rebirth full of innovative ideas and new ways of living and thinking."

From Astrologer Aliza Kelly

"Despite being a small celestial body in our solar system, Pluto’s astrological significance is enormous. In [its] pursuit of exposing truth and power, Pluto’s touch is far from delicate; it does, indeed, come in like a wrecking ball.

"Clever and calculating, Pluto isn’t afraid to tear apart the most complex systems from the inside out. Metamorphosis, evolution, transmutation — that’s the Plutonian way."
Aliza Kelly, http://www.thecut.com

From Astrologer Snehaa Khanna Sahgal

"Pluto takes 248 years to orbit the sun and therefore makes important moves only a few times during most human lifetimes. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius long term was from 1778 to 1798. This was such an important time in history with the American Revolution having just happened followed by the French Revolution and the Irish Uprising, among other things.
"As Pluto gears up to leave Capricorn [and move into Aquarius]..., [look] for an era filled with supportive collaborations where opportunities, connections and a turn of events that supports a more altruistic theme of life become pronounced."
Snehaa Khanna Sahgal, https://www.vogue.in
From Astrologer Steven Forrest

"Aquarius is the sign of paradigm shifts. It’s about genius breakthroughs. Aquarian times are about getting out of bed one morning and everything in your life looks different, as if you’ve somehow awakened or grown up.

"....We are entering an age of miracles – ask any astrologer: one thing that Aquarius represents is the unexpected and the unprecedented. Given the current state of the planet, many people feel that it will take a miracle for us to survive. Here it comes.

Nature is going to win this one. That’s something you can count on. The good news is that we are part of nature. The only bad news is that we’ve mostly forgotten that. Back to the good news: once you look through the astrological lens, you can see the emergence of a mind-boggling, paradigm-shifting new vision for the human future, one that is aimed at saving us.

Call to Action from Astrologer Rachel Lang

"Pluto in Aquarius is an empowering time for us as individuals to unite as a community and create a brighter future for everyone. Let's use this energy to take the initiative and make real-life changes.

"By tapping into our collective power, we can open up new pathways for creating positive transformation – whether through civic engagement, grassroots activism, or simply by sharing different perspectives – all of which can help build community strength."
Do you feel possibilities for a brighter future in these interpretations? The themes I'm hearing from the various astrologers sound hopeful to me! I'm anticipating that this transit of Pluto into Aquarius could be an indicator of a more humanitarian future for our country and hopefully the world.

Pluto is described as the planet of generational death and rebirth, capable of tearing apart complex systems. I'm sensing that there may be disruption at first.

Words from the quotations above, like sudden changes, exposing truth and power, wrecking ball, rebellion, and revolution, indicate upheaval in systems and our current institutions.

If that sounds overwhelming, I'm also learning that Pluto, under the influence of Aquarius, will use its power of transformation to enable more humanitarian systems.

Words like supportive collaborations, scientific breakthroughs, technological achievements, and a more altruistic way of life. We will hopefully be feeling the "winds of change opening the screen door to let in the breeze!"

There may be a rebirth and new ways of thinking, a mind-boggling, paradigm-shifting vision for the human future.

Pluto in Aquarius supports our collective society in opening new pathways for creating positive transformation. I was inspired by the suggestion that we can help in the establishment of a new era, encouraging us to help make positive change within areas of our personal influence.

Wow! I love the positive inferences about this transit! I don't know how long it will take for change to happen, but Pluto has twenty years in Aquarius! We can let go of defeatist attitudes that current situations may have created and begin to look for the signs of change!

I envision a fading out of the divisiveness and fighting we currently experience in the world! I can see hope for peaceful ways of solving conflicts here and abroad. I see truth winning out over disinformation. I see a more humanitarian society where individuals work together for the good of all.

Thank you, Pluto! Welcome to Aquarius! Good timing!
Shari
Be well and enjoy your amazing life!
Sending my love,
Shari

Shari Says...

I believe we are eternal spiritual beings who are currently living one of our many lives on Earth and who are the co-creators of our experiences through our thoughts, beliefs, and pre-birth planning.

If this "Good-News-Letter" inspires anyone to look into the law of attraction or past lives or what happens when we die, I will be satisfied. I am convinced that these are all profound truths: that our thoughts and beliefs influence the things and events of our lives, that we live many lives, that we never die--our consciousness continues on, and that in-between our lives, we rest, study, learn, and plan our purpose for our next life.

For me, these ideas are "good news" and help to answer universal questions about why we are here. I hope you will take what resonates with you and leave the rest. Shari
