PA Health Checkup on Fracking

Please attend this speed-learning and advocacy training event, live streamed between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, hosted by PSR. The event will focus on presenting valuable information to healthcare providers, working to address the health impacts of the unconventional gas development industry. The event is also open to the public.

The morning session will consist of speed-learning, with presentations covering the very basics of fracking, the legal atmosphere, occupational health, children's health, etc. The afternoon will be advocacy training so attendees can learn how to take action on a political level and within their workplace.

House Party Folk Concert with Satire & Social Commentary

Join award-winning musician Tom Neilson & Lynn Waldron for a spectacular night of reminding people what is really important through the power of folk music. He will raise awareness and help us raise funds relating to the burning of fossil fuels. Dr. Sidney Kahn from PSR Philadelphia will be hosting this event at his unique, zero carbon footprint home.

Soul of Medicine

At this event professionals from within the medical community will exchange stories that have inspired and challenged them. Strategies that allow professionals to serve others with integrity, absolute respect and unconditional positive regard, while avoiding burnout and compassion fatigue, will also be discussed.
