200 Blankets for Geaux Bags

Felicia with Geaux 4 Kids, serving children entering foster care in Louisiana, sent us this wonderful note that we want to share with you.

"Thank you so much for your donation of all the beautiful blankets! Our volunteers packed almost 200 bags filled with pajamas, toiletries and comfort items, including your blankets, to go to children transitioning into foster care from their parents' care.

The bags are given by their DCFS worker or the sheriff's officer who picks them up that first night to help with the transition. We truly appreciate being able to partner with organizations like yours!"

"We are making your blanket kits during a family reunion. We are so excited for an opportunity to give service and sit around and chat. We have kids from age 9 up to the grandparents in their mid 70's. It should be so much fun!!! "
