New Alcohol Law May Mean Easier Access for Teens

Cocktail "to-go" laws first started during the COVID-19 pandemic. As of December 2025, they are now a permanent law in the state of Illinois. Recent changes allowing “to-go” alcohol sales could make it easier for underage teens to access alcohol—especially via delivery—so parents and schools should stay aware and talk with students about safe, legal choices.

Teens prepared for puberty report fewer mental health issues

A Cornell University study found that teens who feel prepared for the changes of puberty report fewer symptoms of anxiety and depression, highlighting the importance of accurate, age-appropriate puberty education for student well-being.

Mental Health Disorders and Teen Substance Use

Joys from the Field!

When one of our educators arrived at a school recently, they were greeted by orange traffic cones saving a parking spot just for them. It may seem small, but this simple gesture saved time and made our educator feel truly welcomed. Little acts of thoughtfulness like this go a long way on busy school days. We’re so grateful to partner with schools that care so deeply about the people doing this work.

Shout out to Daniel Zizumbo Acero Elementary School for your thoughtfulness!
