If you've been watching Talking with TAD every week (and I know you have!) you'll know I've been highlighting our statewide judicial candidates recently. It is very important that we elect Republican justices and judges to our highest state courts. These courts are often the final decision makers on so many important criminal or civil cases in Texas.
Justice Jane Bland is my guest this week. She's currently the newest member of the court, at least for now. But Justice Bland is no newcomer, she's got 15 years of experience as a civil law judge! She is a perfect example of the type of judge we need on the court - experienced and brilliant! She also believes that the courts are meant to apply the law, not make it.
