Reporting Attendance
- Attendance includes late arrivals, early dismissals, and any absence.
- Submit a separate form for each student and each day absent.
- Concordia-related events don’t require a form.
- When picking up a Middle or High School student for an appointment, etc., you must call the front office for your student to be released from the building.

School Picture Retakes (K–12) – Monday, October 6
All students need to have a school picture taken for our student information system (FACTS). Ordering prints is optional.

Grades 6–12: Use your student’s 5-digit ID as the online code when ordering online (Student numbers are printed above the barcode on Student ID cards).
Picture Retake Instructions:

First-time takers: If this is your student’s first picture session, no action is required.

All students: Please return the original picture package if you want a retake. K–5 pictures have not yet been distributed.
- For students who did not previously order:
- If you reviewed your pictures online, but didn't order, and would like a retake, submit a $5 cash payment in an envelope. Be sure to include your student’s name on the envelope.
- Return the completed order envelope along with the $5 payment to the school office.

Conference Dinner & Snacks – October 9
Concordia parent groups, Hands & Feet and PAC, will provide meals for staff during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 9.

Please indicate if your dish will be dropped off for heating or brought HOT at 4:00 pm. Disposable containers work best. If you use a reusable container, please label it with your name. Pick-up will be in the Front Office on Monday, Oct. 13.

Concordia Club (K– 8) – October 15
October 15 is a testing day for grades 9–12, and all students will have a half-day of school. Families planning to use the Concordia Club in the afternoon will have the option to sign up for a Westside sack lunch. Students not picked up by 12:45 will be taken to Concordia Club.
All K–8 families must complete this form by October 10, even if you will not be using Concordia Club: Concordia Club Sign-Up Form
When completing the form, please indicate:
- Whether or not your child will attend Concordia Club.
- If your child will attend, choose one lunch option:
- Bring a sack lunch from home
- Order a sack lunch from Westside (billed through FACTS; must be ordered ahead of time)

Moms in Prayer
Last week at Moms in Prayer, we prayed to our GENTLE God.
- Scripture readings were from Isaiah 40:11; 1 Kings 19:11-12; Matthew 11:28-29; Matthew 21:5
- We prayed for each Academy 5th grade and High School 11th grade student.
- We prayed for staff members: Mrs.Tina Festner, Middle School Teacher, Mr. Jacob Fink, High School Teacher, Mrs. Mallory Fink, Ignite Teacher, and Mrs. Melinda Flick Elementary Aide.
We invite you to join us in the conference room on Friday mornings at 8:15 am. Please note that there will be no meeting on October 10 due to a school holiday.
