A Note From the Principal:
Easter is not the only time to spend focusing on Jesus as our Savior. The resurrection of the King is the event to hold in our hearts always. I was just in the City Market parking lot telling myself this. We are so busy that we forget to stop and take the time to really soak in what Jesus Christ came to do and endure for us. He poured out His life for us. First grade has been talking about how Jesus came for all: for those in the past, lost in the Roman culture and longing for His rescue; and for all those needing His love to rescue them today. He is constantly aware of our need for Him and offers His resurrecting power to us all the time, so we can try to be more aware of just what that means. He has done just as he said, He is the Savior, and He will be coming to bring us to His kingdom soon. We have so much to look forward to. Next time you forget and feel bogged down in busyness, stop and look to Him. He will remind you wherever you are...because He loves you!" ~ Mrs. Pingleton

Parent Information:
Family Fun Night & Open House:
Thursday, April 5th, the school will be open 5:30-7:30pm for current families to enjoy time together, and for prospective families to visit and get to know us. Classrooms will be open, teachers will be here to visit,
and the gym will be full of games, snacks, and the Jump House! Bring your family and invite others who might be curious about BCS, for a fun, casual evening.

Thank You for Your Food Drive Contributions:
Thank you for all of your donations! Read-to-Feed provided a great opportunity to teach students about the needs in our community, and provided them a way serve others. They also did a wonderful job serving one another at the Read-a-thon. It warmed our hearts to see the older students take the initiative to come alongside the younger ones to help with reading. All of our students and staff had a great time reading together at the “campground.” Thanks to your support, we collected a total of $765 and 357 food items, which the Food Bank of the Rockies will
use to provide 3,000+ meals for families throughout the Western Slope!

New Videos Depicting BCS:
We are excited to roll out a new series of professional videos! We have a Full Story video about Bookcliff, as well as 3 short stories from current parents. You can find them on Facebook and our website. We will also be sending them to you in email soon. Please help us share theses via your email & social media! Family and friends will enjoy seeing where your child gets to grow, and who knows who else may be inspired to join or contribute to Bookcliff?

Spring Concert:
Make sure your calendar is marked for April 26th at 6:00pm! You will not want to miss the Spring Concert that your child is working hard to prepare for! They will be singing and showcasing all that they’ve learned in music this year! This is also another fun event to invite friends and family to!
Mission: To glorify God by loving and teaching His children to grow in wisdom, in stature, and favor with God and man.
Important Reminders:
New Scholarships:
We have 6 ACE scholarships available for next year! ACE is a nonprofit that raises money from donors and then awards scholarships to low-income families, so they can attend the school of their choice. The 6 ACE Scholarships available to BCS are for families new to K-5 at BCS next year. Current Pre-k students who will begin kindergarten in the fall, also qualify. Applications are due April 16th, so spread the word, and have interested families join us at Open House, or visit the office soon! We also have other scholarships available for current families (thanks to generous donors at our Annual Golf Tournament). Contact the office to apply.

Track Meet:
T he annual track meet is a fun time for our 1st-3rd grade students to compete against other private schools in the valley. Our families always have a fun time together, participating and cheering on BCS! This is event is May 3rd from 8:00am-3:00pm. Children do need to stay with a parent this day, and we will also need volunteers. Mark your calendar and look for more information coming home soon!

Annual Golf Tournament:
Our 9th Annual Par-Tee Golf Tournament will be here before we know it. This is a fun event with a mixture of competitive golfers and even those who have never played. Recruit a team and share with others who might enjoy a fun day of golf! Every dollar raised will benefit our scholarship fund, to make BCS affordable for more families. We will also need volunteers May 5th, to help with breakfast, lunch, and the silent auction. Mark your calendars and contact us to be a part of this fun event!
Amazon Smile:
Did you know shopping on Amazon can earn money for BCS? Visit and select Bookcliff Baptist Church as your charity of choice. A percent of all of your purchases at Amazon Smile will be given to BCS!
