Our Sunday School Classes start up this Sunday!

This is a great way for children of the church to connect to one another and get to know some other adults in our congregation as they are introduced to the many stories of scripture.

We encourage parents to please be on time, as it gives your child time to meet everyone and participate in the welcome activity. While we'd love to have every child in the church every week, but should you miss a week don't worry. Our stories are presented independently from week to week. So if they are here they will obviously get to see/hear more of the lessons, but if they are away one week they won't be lost when returning.

Resilience

What is Resilience? Life is hard. Adversity impacts us all, whether through trauma, tragedy, threats or significant stress. Resilience is the ability to overcome this adversity. To be resilient is to view the world in such a way that you believe that you can handle anything.

Come see how science and spirit intersect in a powerful message of hope and healing in the documentary: Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope.

This all-church event has a special children's program on emotions and childcare for nursery age.

Be a 10 cents / Meal Offering Ushers

Sun., Sept. 22/ 11:00am

On the 4th Sunday of each month we take up an additional offering during worship. Our 3rd-5th graders are invited to be ushers. Those who sign up are asked to meet in the back of the sanctuary 15 minutes before that service to review procedures with the head usher.

FEAST & Arts Plus

Sun, Sept. 29/ Noon/P307

Families with children are invited to join us for lunch at Noon upstairs in P307. We'll enjoy a build your own sandwich lunch together before doing a little watercolor art project on canvases to be used in a church banner. Please register by 9/24.
