On May 16, business and industry professionals in Greater Kansas City are meeting with Kansas State University researchers at the 2018 Research Showcase to explore the university's expansive portfolio of research capabilities, technologies and facilities available to partners in the metro area. Open House is Saturday, April 7

Going back to school? We're offering four $500 scholarships

This summer, K-State Olathe is offering three STEM-based summer camps for middle school students. The camps use hands-on activities to teach advanced knowledge about food safety, horticulture and animal health.

Faculty Profile: Paul Casady
Paul Casady is the executive in residence and professor of practice for animal health at K-State Olathe. For 35 years, he led overseas divisions of large, animal health pharmaceutical companies before joining K-State Olathe. Around the campus
Nearly 90 industry, agency and educational stakeholders attended the third in a series of four seminars tailored to the animal health regulatory affairs community. The seminar, "Ensuring Data quality in Animal Health Studies," is a hot topic and is considered critical for successful submission and product approval.

More than 100 attendees visited K-State Olathe for the "Leaders of Tomorrow" symposium conducted by the
Command and General Staff College Foundation Inc.
Richard B. Myers, Kansas State University president, delivered the keynote address on leadership.

Several members of the Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute met at Kansas State University's Manhattan campus for the organization's quarterly stakeholder meeting. Members learned about research initiatives from the vice president for research and a researcher; received updates on the federal National Bio- and Agro-defense Facility that is being built on campus; and toured a training laboratory at the Biosecurity Research Institute.
