Greetings from Town Hall

While spring has been a gradual arrival this year, there’s a growing sense of anticipation as we look ahead to an Island summer and the farming, fishing and tourism seasons just around the corner. Even with cooler days lingering, planning and preparation are well underway across our community. This time of year offers an important moment for businesses and organizations to get ready for the months ahead. At the same time, our farming and fishing industries are beginning to ramp up, marking another meaningful sign of the seasonal rhythms that support both our local economy and our community’s identity.

From fine‑tuning offerings to preparing seasonal staff and events, these early efforts help ensure visitors have a positive and memorable experience when summer does arrive. Our local businesses, service providers, and volunteers continue to set the tone for what makes our community such a welcoming destination. The care and pride shown year‑round are key to building strong experiences that support both tourism and our local economy.

Thank you to everyone who is already laying the groundwork for the season ahead. With collaboration and community spirit, I’m confident the coming months will bring new opportunities and shared success.
