Happy New Year!


As we kick off a new year, I want to thank you for being part of our Chamber community. Your support, energy, and involvement make a real difference, and we’re grateful to work alongside such an incredible group of local businesses and leaders.


We’re excited about what’s ahead- opportunities to connect, share ideas, support one another, and celebrate the successes that make our community thrive. We can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together this year.

The Kensington & Area Chamber of Commerce would like your feedback! Our goal with the annual membership survey is to determine the ways in which we can best serve you as a member and to make sure you are aware what the types of things that the Chamber can offer you.

Greetings from Kensington Town Hall


As we step into 2026, I want to thank each of you for your continued contributions to making Kensington a vibrant place to live and work. The holiday season reminded us of the strength and spirit of our community, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.

We’re pleased to share that Brian Baker has joined us as our new Chief Administrative Officer, and Prashanth Gunti has accepted our offer to become the Manager of Finance and Administration. Please join me in welcoming Brian and Prashanth to our community. These additions strengthen our team and position us well for the year ahead.

Here’s to a year of growth, collaboration, and success for all our businesses. Thank you for everything you do to make Kensington thrive!

The Annual General Meeting for the Kensington & Area Chamber of Commerce will be held on Thur, Feb 19th at 11:00am at the Murray Christian Center.

The new Board of Directors will be announced and there will be a panel discussion with various local business owners/managers.

The Town of Kensington is a beautiful and picturesque town nestled in the heart of PEI. Surrounded by breathtaking rolling countryside, Kensington is the thriving commercial center for over thirty fishing and farming communities with a great variety of restaurants and unique stores.

The Town of Kensington has also embarked on the construction of a new business park for the community a few years ago, including the construction of 38 fully serviced business/industrial lots.

Prince County Hospital Foundation

Since 1993, the Prince County Hospital Foundation has existed for the betterment of the hospital. Primarily, this means raising the funds necessary to keep the hospital supplied with priority medical equipment for patient care.


The Foundation is also a voice for PCH when it needs support and a community partner for innovative solutions in the face of challenging times in healthcare. The PCH Foundation is guided by a volunteer board of directors from the community and a staff of six.
