In the meantime, feel free to contact us and please stay safe!
The Kensington & Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to be able to provide information on funding programs, local events and to promote their members' businesses. However, we do rely on an active Board of Directors for guidance and support. The Board consists of volunteers from diverse professional backgrounds who are elected to oversee the affairs of the KACC in accordance with its' by-laws. As a business leader in our community, we rely on your passion, knowledge, and expertise to ensure that we remain as relevant and effective as possible and you will have an impact on our business community and the role that the Chamber plays in it.

Click here for a list of our current Board of Directors. Please contact one of the Board members or Julie at the office if you have questions or would like to become involved on the Board or a sub committee (events, policy, membership etc.)

Message from the Town of Kensington
Well water testing has been in the news lately, as the Province has agreed to provide well water testing free of charge to residents outside a municipality. Therefore, I thought I would explain the sampling procedure required by the Town of Kensington for our municipal water. On a weekly basis we sample several locations around town to ensure the required chlorine concentration. Additionally, each of our 4 water supply wells follow the following testing procedures - on a monthly basis, we send samples to the provincial lab for coliform and E.coli analysis, on an annual basis, we send samples to the lab for a general chemical analysis and every three (3) years we send samples to the lab for a detailed chemical analysis. It takes about 1.5% of our property tax revenue to pay the costs to ensure we provide quality water to our residents. These costs do not qualify for the free provincial water testing program.
