Message from the Executive Director
I was very fortunate to be able to travel to Ireland at the first of October, this was sponsored by Tourism Ireland, Indus Travels and Aer Lingus. Twelve Chamber Executives were able to participate in this Fam Trip of Ireland, including 3 of us from PEI. This group of people became fast friends and will be a great source of sharing resources and ideas. There were 2 travel days and 5 days that were packed with tours and stops along the Eastern side of Ireland, starting in Dublin and working our way up to spend a couple of days in Northern Ireland. We saw so many things and met so many people in 5 days and it gave us a sense of the many things to do, the history to learn and how great the Irish hospitality is. The picture to the right is me in front of Trim Castle, built in the 12th century and the location where the movie Braveheart was filmed. It was truly a lifetime experience that I am so grateful to be able to have had.
The Kensington & Area Chamber along with other Island Chambers, will be promoting group travel trips to Ireland, one trip in Fall of 2023 and one in the Spring of 2024. If you have an interest in traveling we want to help you fulfill your dreams. These trips are offered to members and non-members, it can offer an opportunity for people to travel together in small groups to great locations at an affordable price. Tour companies are selected because of the quality of their packages and all bookings are done through a local travel agent. Stay tuned on Facebook and our E-News for more details to come!
We had a great small business week full of events across the Island that was put on by various organizations. It's been such a challenging time recently so was good to get some people together.

The Halloween – Nights of Fear are back for the 22nd year! We’re super excited to welcome you to visit Dr. Jack and all of his fiends! For a spooking good time this Halloween, gather up a group of ghouls and head out to visit the Haunted Mansion – PEI’s largest, scariest haunted house! Children & the faint of heart should come during the daylight hours before our spooks come out.
Below are the remaining dates & times!
28th – Friday – 6-9pm
29th – Saturday – 2-4pm & 6-9pm
30th – Sunday – 2-4pm & 6-9pm
We recommend families with younger children or those who are easily frightened come for a lighter, friendlier version of the experience.
At night, from 6-9pm, all of the ghouls will be there, out to grasp on to your darkest fears and terrify you!
Entry is from a queue line, there are no online reservations or pre-purchased tickets available at this time.
