Message from the Town of Kensington
The Town of Kensington has installed infrastructure at our well field located on Woodleigh Drive, which will ensure we continue to provide high quality drinking water to our residents. This system is known as 4-Log reduction and ensures any harmful bacteria would be killed before it arrives at the user. With this installation, we are able to maintain the concentration of chlorine in the water at the lowest possible concentration level and still ensure high quality, good tasting drinking water. At the same time, we installed a backup power generator to operate during any power outage. This will guarantee the treatment systems and water pumps stay operational at all times and residents can be assured of a constant supply of high quality drinking water.

The SHIFT Project PEI posted a survey on workplace sexual harassment in August and September, and over 1,600 Islanders responded. More than 1,000 of our island friends, family and neighbours reported that they had experienced sexual harassment at work.
The SHIFT Project PEI can help workplaces with free training and resources for employers and employees. SHIFT offers live in-person or virtual sessions, provides resources and tools in prevention, investigation, and resolution of harassment incidents, and has created a Workplace Safety Kit. Like a First Aid kit, it provides employers with practical tools and information. The focus is on sexual harassment in the workplace, yet the tools and training can apply to any form of harassment.
Is it time to update your policy and procedures?
