Non-profit management and corporate liability insurance program Trisura’s policy pays damages and expenses on behalf of individual directors, officers, trustees, volunteers, employees and members of any duly constituted committee in the event they are sued as a result of the performance of their duties with the organization. This means that the policy will pay defence costs and damages on behalf of these individuals in the event that the organization cannot do so, either because it is not permitted to by virtue of its by-laws or it is financially unable to do so.
