EXECUTIVE ORDER 20-36 - DRIVERS LICENSE AND VEHICLE REGISTRATION AND REGULATION
HAS EXPIRED AS OF JUNE 30
As of June 30th, Executive Order 20-36 , for Titles and Registration and Driver’s License expired yesterday.
 
The 60-day extension will begin running July 1 and expire on August 29, 2020.  The extension period covers registration renewals for passenger vehicles, motorcycles, trucks and trailer (including IRP) for March, April, May and June 2020. Customers who have purchased a new or used vehicle on or after January 1, 2020 are covered. Those with a 60-day temporary tag may continue to use the temporary tag until they have completed their title work within the extension period. Transactions that were covered by the extension period but are performed after August 29 will be charged the appropriate penalties and fees.
 
Driver’s licenses and ID cards that expired beginning March 12, 2020 and need to be renewed are covered by the extension period.
