FOLLOW UP TO COVID-19 HR WEBINAR
As a follow up to yesterday’s webinar by Fisher Phillips, we have included a copy of the materials presented , Employer Guidance on Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Please note however, the Act is still a work in progress and many issues are pending legislative approval before enactment. So, look for future alerts.

We also had many great follow up questions from dealers and Fisher Phillips is putting together a dealership specific FAQ on COVID-19, which will be forwarded when available.

In addition, Fisher Phillips has created a very detailed informational website, which is updated daily and if not hourly that covers the majority of legal HR questions or other issues related to COVID 19. NADA'S "RUNNING A DEALERSHIP
DURING A PANDEMIC" WEBINAR
NADA will also host a webinar tomorrow, Thursday, March 19 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. CST.  Running a Dealership During a Pandemic: Legal Issues and Federal Mandates , presented by Rick Warren of FordHarrison LLP.

Labor attorney Rick Warren will review key pandemic-related legal issues and mandates for automobile dealerships, with a particular focus on COVID-19 issues involving employees, customers, and business continuity. Rick, along with NADA’s David Regan and Doug Greenhaus, will discuss legal compliance and prudent policies impacting franchised dealerships, their employees and their customers, as well as new federal legislation on mandatory paid leave related to COVID-19.

Please note that participation for this webinar will be at capacity. “Seats” will be given to registered participants (see below regarding registration) on a first come/first served basis. Once the “room” is at capacity, participants will be rolled over to audio-only. Participants on audio-only will be given a link to download a PowerPoint presentation so that they can follow along. The webinar “room” will open at 11:45 a.m. The webinar will be recorded; the recording will be available via www.nada.org by close of business on Friday, March 20 th , with your NADA user name and password.
