2024 NBD Meeting in NY

The KASF National Board (NB) Directors meeting took place in Flushing, NY, on April 27, 2024, with twenty NB directors and twenty additional guests in attendance. Alongside these participants, the National Board extended invitations to twelve young professionals from all regions. This initiative aimed to enhance KASF's capacity within the younger generation and foster connections with more seasoned members, ensuring the organization's growth and sustainability. We anticipate welcoming these young professionals onto the National Board of Directors in the near future.

Throughout the meeting, Regional Presidents and Committee Chairs shared their achievements from the past year and outlined their goals for the upcoming years. This facilitated greater alignment and shared vision among the different regions, fostering meaningful discussions on the essence of KASF. Together, they devised action plans that harmonize with both overarching organizational objectives and specific regional targets.

We extend our appreciation to the Northeastern Region for their warm hospitality and look forward to reconvening in Atlanta next year.

The Korean American Students Association (KASA) at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) chose KASF to donate the funds they raised from multiple fundraising events they held throughout the year. As a result of their generous donation, this scholarship they funded will be awarded to a student who promotes Korean culture and history within their local community.
